Where the 2027 dates land

The calendar is not evenly published, and the skew is steep: March alone holds 142 fairs (32.5%), while July and August together hold 7.

The days that collide

27 days in 2027 already have five or more fairs opening on them. The busiest is 3 March 2027 with 17 fairs — ISLE – INTERNATIONAL SMART DISPLAY AND INTEGRATED SYSTEM EXHIBITION, DENTAL SOUTH CHINA, WATERTECH GUANGDONG and 14 more. The busiest single week is ISO week 09 of 2027, with 46 fairs opening between 1 March 2027 and 7 March 2027.

This is the number an exhibitor actually needs and no calendar app publishes: if two of your target fairs share a week, you cannot work both, and the clash is invisible until the dates are on one page.

347 of the 437 records carry a classified industry; 90 are unclassified because the source published no sector. The classifier is automated, so treat the boundaries as approximate — a shipping-logistics congress and a shipping-container expo land in the same bucket.

What this page cannot tell you

A published date is not an industry fact. The reason March 2027 looks crowded is that organisers publish next year's first-quarter dates first — the shape of this curve is publication lead time, not seasonality. July and August 2027 are nearly empty because those dates have not been announced yet, not because the industry stops.

Method and citation

Counts are computed from the 1,323 dated records in the published index on 8 November 2026: a fair is counted in 2027 when its start date falls in 2027. Multi-day fairs are counted once, at their start date. Weeks are ISO-8601. The CSV behind every figure on this page is expoarena.org/insights/2027-trade-fair-calendar.csv.
