What Canton Fair (Spring) Phase 1 is
The Canton Fair — China Import and Export Fair — is China's largest trade event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Guangdong provincial government and run by the China Foreign Trade Centre at the Pazhou complex in Guangzhou. Every spring and autumn session is split into three phases. Spring 2027 opens with Phase 1 on 15–19 April (electronics, household appliances, machinery, vehicles, hardware), followed by Phase 2 on 23–27 April and Phase 3 on 1–5 May.

Exhibiting: Phase 1 covers household electrical appliances, consumer electronics and information products, industrial automation, processing and power machinery, vehicles and new-energy mobility, lighting, hardware and tools.
Attending: Overseas importers, sourcing agents, retail chains and brand buyers from more than 200 countries, plus Chinese exporters who use the session to write the year's export orders.

Overseas buyers pre-register on the Canton Fair website or app, then collect a free buyer badge with their passport at the complex or at pre-show counters at Baiyun airport, Guangzhou South station and the Pazhou ferry terminal.

Getting there
Dedicated airport shuttle buses run to the complex during the fair, the Pazhou ferry terminal links the venue with Hong Kong, and metro fares can be paid by tapping a Visa or Mastercard.
Airport: Guangzhou Baiyun International (CAN)
Getting in from the airport: Metro Line 3 from the airport to Kecun, change to Line 8 and alight at Xingangdong (Area A) or Pazhou (Areas B and C); an intercity train from the airport also stops at Pazhou.
