What Anuga is
Anuga is the world's largest food and drink trade fair, held every second October on the Koelnmesse grounds in Cologne and organised by Koelnmesse together with the German food retail federation BVLH. Ten co-located trade shows — Fine Food, Drinks, Chilled & Fresh Food, Meat, Frozen Food, Dairy, Bread & Bakery, Hot Beverages, Organic and the new Alternatives — fill the halls. The 2025 edition set records with 8,015 exhibitors from 110 countries and more than 145,000 trade visitors from over 190 nations.

Exhibiting: Food and drink manufacturers and brand owners grouped into ten trade shows, from Anuga Fine Food and Anuga Drinks to Anuga Meat, Anuga Frozen Food and the plant-based Anuga Alternatives, with country pavilions from 110 nations.
Attending: Retail and wholesale buyers, foodservice and catering operators, importers and exporters: 80 per cent of the 2025 audience came from outside Germany, and almost all of Germany's top 20 food retailers sent buyers.
How to get in
Trade only: buy a ticket in the online ticket shop and provide proof of trade status — a commercial register extract, trade licence or similar — when you collect it.
Paid trade visitor ticket; children under 12 enter free with a guardian, and the ticket doubles as a second-class VRS public transport pass.
Getting there
Trams 1 and 9 also stop at Köln Messe/Deutz for the South entrance, and trams 3 and 4 serve the East, West and North entrances.
Airport: Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN)
Getting in from the airport: Take the S-Bahn into Cologne and get off at Köln Messe/Deutz, which sits directly beside the grounds; Koelnmesse lists S6, S11, S12 and S19 at that stop.
